Rachel has several years experience working with a wide range of clinical mental health issues, including mood and anxiety disorders, sexual abuse, domestic abuse, trauma and stress disorders, gender dysphoria, substance abuse disorders, parenting/family dynamic concerns, couples counseling, and faith based counseling. She has worked in middle and high school settings seeing children and teens; and in community mental health clinics seeing children, teens, adults, parents, and families.
Rachel uses an eclectic theoretical approach to counseling, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy. She believes that all individuals are capable of achieving their goals and with a focus on inner resiliency helps them to attain this.
